Application views

The application operates through four distinct view levels:

Global view

Displays data for all users enrolled in the application (part of Tempo Teams), offering comprehensive company-wide chargeability insights.

Project View

Provides chargeability data specific to each project, including engagement percentages for all team members.

Project Member View

Presents data for a user within a particular project, with user chargeability based on their percentage assignment to the team. If the user is assigned 50% of their time to the chosen project, and we have 160 hours in the current time range, their chargeability rate would reach 100% when 80 hours are logged as billable on this project.  Below the main chart, you will also see information on other projects of the user, if they have any.

Individual view

Illustrates data for a single user across all projects. You can access the first three view levels by clicking on the "Details" button for the specific project or user. To access the individual user view, click on the "Find User" button in the left-side navigation panel.

Which days are calculated as working days

The team's capacity is calculated based on the number of working days in each month. Weekends and days marked as holidays in your Tempo Holiday Scheme are automatically excluded from these calculations. Currently, only one holiday holiday scheme (with ID #1)  is supported as part of the calculations.

The application gathers and calculates all logged hours, even those on weekends or holidays (according to the Tempo holiday scheme). Overtime is also included in calculations and can increase chargeability levels.

Logging time in Tempo

For the application to provide comprehensive data, users should regularly log hours in Tempo. It is recommended that users log their time by the next working day at the latest. Expected hours are calculated until the last working day (the current day is not expected to be logged yet, which means those hours won't be considered as missing). When you open the application on the first day of the month, you won’t be able to view data for the current month and will be shown a banner that can redirect you to view the previous months’ data.
