Chargeability
The ratio of the number of hours for which a company receives payment to the total hours contributed by its team members.
Differentiating between paid and unpaid holidays, chargeability reflects their distinct impact.
Global Chargeability
The calculation of chargeability for individuals within a specific Jira group.
Project Chargeability
The computation of chargeability for individuals within a specific project, based on Tempo Team assignments. This metric gauges the potential gains achievable from a particular project, with ongoing discussions addressing factors like part-time capacity versus internal hours.
Billable Hours / Expected Hours
The measure of hours considered billable or expected for compensation.
Individual Chargeabilty
The calculation of chargeability for a specific person, incorporating time logged across all projects. This provides insight into the potential gains attributed to an individual.
Team Capacity
The aggregate number of hours designated for the delivery team, a constant figure aligned with employee employment agreements. Not affected by vacations or other temporary absences.
Person Capacity
The capacity allocated to an individual employee, reflecting their employment status.
The following terms apply to both individual and team contexts:
Logged Hours
The hours recorded in Tempo Timesheets.
Expected Hours
The anticipated number of paid hours logged in worklogs for a given month by an employee. Excludes unpaid holidays from consideration. Typically around 160 hours for full-time equivalent (FTE) positions.
Available Hours
Hours available as of a given date, which are yet to be planned and logged by month-end. These hours are subject to allocation as Billable, Nonbillable, or Internal based on decisions. Calculated as Capacity minus Logged Hours.
Missing Hours
Anticipated Hours in worklogs until the end of the preceding day, subtracted from Logged Hours at that point. Summarises all hours that passed and were not logged by the user by the expected time.
Billable Hours
Logged Hours for commercial or billable projects marked as "Billable" in Tempo Timesheets.
Nonbillable Hours
Logged Hours for commercial or billable projects not marked as "Billable" in Tempo Timesheets. Hours on commercial project that won’t be compensated by the client.
Internal Hours
Logged Hours devoted to noncommercial projects involving internal company activities.
Paid Leave
All types of leave that the employees receive their salary for.
Paid Hours
The total hours compensated by the company, encompassing all Logged Hours except for Unpaid Vacations. This includes Billable Hours, Internal Hours, and Nonbillable Hours.
Unpaid Hours
The cumulative hours of unpaid leave.
Unpaid Leave
The total number of days associated with unpaid vacations.
